IDAHOHEROES.ORG is a site created to share the history about the men and women in uniform who have served the United States of America and the State of Idaho. The site features information about members of the Armed Forces from Idaho who have been awarded the Medal of Honor, information about the wars, campaigns, and events in which Idahoans have bravely served, names of those fallen heroes who gave their lives in service to their country, and men who died while Prisoners of War.​

​In the Tributes pages are stories, biographies and service information about Idaho military veterans.
​There are several pages to help identify various Awards and Decorations that are found on our servicemen and women’s uniforms, as well as Military Badges and Rank Insignia unique to each branch of service.
Information about the history, lineage and honors is available for the ​116th Armored Cavalry Brigade, the 116th Engineering Battalion, and the 124th Fighter Wing (Air Guard), along with stories shared by veterans of their service in Europe, the Pacific, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Iraq, Afghanistan, and service during the Cold War.

Although dad never saw combat as a soldier, he was always very proud and honored to have served as a member of the Idaho Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve. His patriotism, loyalty, and dedication to protecting and serving the State of Idaho and the United States of America will never be forgotten.
